Cues associated with drugs of abuse induce craving and the magnitude of the craving increases or incubates during abstinence. Everolimus, an mTOR inhibitor and therapeutic drug which has been shown to dose-dependently block cocaine incubation, will be tested in blocking methamphetamine incubation in rats as model organisms after a period of self-administration conditioning.</p>
