My research is on deep reinforcement learning, which is a branch of machine learning focused on learning from trial and error where the actions of the learning agent directly influence the world around it. My research over the summer is specifically focused on ways to improve reinforcement learning agents' ability to learn skills that generalize to novel situations.</p>
