<p>My research is about examining how racial capitalism operates in Los Angeles's Chinatown through the lens of Black and Chinese relations. I combine archival research (locating Blackness in the L.A. Chinatown archives) and ethnography (interviewing Black and Chinese people who are located in Chinatown, particularly in regards to intra/inter-group perceptions and the racialization of homelessness) in order to expand our understanding of Black/Asian relations as a part of racial capitalist mechanisms.</p>
